Meghan Markle wins her case against her stepsister

Another victory in court for Meghan Markle. This week it became known that a libel suit filed by her half-sister was rejected by a US court.

Samantha is the daughter of Thomas Markle, Meghan's father, from her first marriage. She claimed that the Duchess of Sussex spread "malicious lies" to television viewers around the world during the now-famous interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

However, one of the Florida state judges refused to consider the claim of Markle Sr. because she "could not provide evidence that it was a lie." Samantha's accusations were based mainly on memories of Megan and their relationship when she was still a child.
