How to clean stainless steel to make it shiny
Cleaning stainless steel can be a daunting task if we don't do it right.
Have you noticed how many kitchen items are made of stainless steel? Due to its strength, durability and ease of care, it is widely used in the manufacture of cutlery, kitchen utensils, sinks and household appliances. Today we will tell you how to care for such items. Cleaning the refrigerator or other surfaces from fingerprints or grease is quite simple.
- Step 1. In a spray bottle, mix water and vinegar. The ratio of water to vinegar should always be one part vinegar to three parts water.
- Step 2: Apply to the outside of the refrigerator, hood and any other surfaces you want to clean.
- Step 3. Wipe thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth to make the surface shiny. You will immediately see the difference!
What else can be used to clean stainless steel
In addition to cleaning vinegar, as we just saw, you can also clean stainless steel with other products. It will be very useful for you to get to know them, because they are in every home.
Dishwashing liquid. If you don't have vinegar on hand, you can use dishwashing detergent. In combination with hot water, this is most effective.
Multipurpose tool. Both glass cleaner and the typical all-purpose spray cleaner can also come in handy at any time. Then dry with absorbent paper so that no marks remain on it.
Oil. Yes, we were not mistaken. Apply a few drops of oil to a cotton pad and wipe the surface well. Leave for half an hour and rinse with a clean microfiber cloth dampened with water.
Cooking sometimes leads to the fact that we leave marks on kitchen surfaces that are difficult to remove later. If you don't clean them right away, these stains will dry out and be harder to remove.
To wipe off dried-on stains, you can use a sponge lightly dampened with soap to soften the residue.
NEVER apply very aggressive cleaners or bleach, as they may damage the surface.
