Chinese actor Chen Kun has become the face of the British brand Burberry

Burberry has named renowned and highly paid Chinese actor Chen Kun as its new ambassador. The performance took place as part of an international exhibition in Hainan, which is called the Chinese Hawaii, as well as a duty-free place.

The brand released a series of shots featuring Chen in a signature beige trench coat. The actor was filmed on the island against the backdrop of mangroves, which are the natural heritage of these places. Burberry is funding their restoration as part of their conservation efforts.

Kun has been building a career in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He starred in a series of blockbusters, as well as in independent projects, marked by prestigious awards. Together with his colleague and close friend Zhou Xun, who is a Chanel ambassador, he founded Dome Studio to help young talents in the Chinese show business.
