May issue of Vogue to feature Lagerfeld's 'favorite fashion models'
The issue will be dedicated to the annual event in the world of fashion - the Met Gala.
Vogue launches in May featuring ten of Karl Lagerfeld's favorite models. The decision was made in light of the annual Met Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute. The event will traditionally be held in early May and will be dedicated this year to the famous fashion designer, creative director of Chanel and Fendi, who died in 2019.
The magazine, which is one of the organizers of the ball, shared exclusive photos that will also accompany the opening of the thematic exhibition at the Metropolitan. Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will appear on the pages of Vogue. The latter two will share their memories of working with the late designer in a conversation with the publication.
Each of the fashion models will demonstrate models from 10 different designers who were inspired by the creation of Lagerfeld.
