Julianne Moore told of her biggest regret about her appearance
The 61-year-old actress wants her beauty lesson from her negative experience to be learned by all women.
Julianne Moore is known for her bright, unconventional appearance. Possessing a naturally pleasant shade of red hair and pale skin, she brings originality and drama to every role. However, even such an acclaimed screen diva has something to regret at her leisure. In an interview with The Times, Moore revealed that she is sometimes sad about her damaged eyebrows. As it turned out, in her youth she took an example from her peers, who experimented with this part of the face.
"When I was a teenager, I plucked them, I lightened them, I did everything I could with them, so now they're completely gone," the actress says. According to her, the eyebrows that people see on her face now are "completely drawn in," and it's sometimes difficult for the beautician to find the right color. Julianne occasionally reminds her 19-year-old daughter of this negative experience. "Liv has red hair and the most beautiful dark eyebrows. And I tell her, 'Please don't touch them. I really think so. And, in fact, don't let anybody touch them."
That said, Moore is more accepting of herself now than when she was younger. "I think it's because you're more interested in other things, like family, relationships, work or your surroundings. The short-sightedness about how you look is receding," the actress states with a smile. "I think it goes away completely... As you get older, the fruitlessness of this fixation on your own appearance becomes evident to you."
