The secret of Kate Middleton's photogenicity
It was revealed in an interview with The Sun newspaper by fashion expert Miranda Holder.
While many of us don't like to be photographed because we "don't get it right," there is one person who, from all angles, comes out great in pictures. That's Kate Middleton. She is probably the most photographed woman on earth right now. So how does she always manage to "turn out well"? And it's certainly not about stylish outfits or imposing hairstyles. The Duchess of Cambridge has a special secret, which was recently revealed to British journalists, by the royal fashion expert and stylist Miranda Holder. According to her, Catherine trained herself to always keep her chin parallel to the floor in public. Even when she crouches down to talk to her children, her own or those of others.
"She doesn't lower her chin, she doesn't scuff it up, and that guarantees a great shot every time," Miranda noted. "A lot of people say to me, 'No, it's because she's beautiful and rich and has good stylists.' That's not true. In my years of working with supermodels and celebrities, I've learned that you can be the most charming person in the world and still be terrible in pictures. It's your relationship to the camera and the position of your chin that's the problem. If it's down, it's no good; if it's up, it's even less good; we don't want to see your nostrils in the picture.
