Swedish Byredo will release a jewelry collection
The product line is called Virasaat.
Byredo, which specializes in fragrances and accessories, will introduce a line of high-end jewelry as a permanent niche product. The base is 18k gold and sterling silver. The products will go on sale at the end of November. The collection is called Virasaat, which can be translated from Hindi as “heritage” - a tribute to the Indian roots of the brand’s founder, Ben Gorham.
Byredo already has experience launching jewelry on the market. In 2020, a line was presented in collaboration with Charlotte Chesnais. Gorham said his company learned a lot from the project.
The brand's new collection includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings made in Italy; their leitmotif is the rounded shape of the pearl combined with a graphic frame. The items will range in price from $350 for a silver ring to $27,000 for a gold necklace.
