Kate Middleton's royal entrance at London's Royal Albert Hall

Lady in blue. Kate Middleton delighted those gathered at London's Royal Albert Hall the day before; at a charity evening she appeared in full regalia - in a blue dress with floor-length sleeves and a clear shoulder line from the British brand Safiyaa.

For accessories, the Princess of Wales chose the famous engagement ring with a large sapphire, which she inherited from her husband's mother, Princess Diana, matching velvet shoes, a diamond necklace and bracelet, and pearl earrings.

Kate wore her hair in waves and carried a miniature clutch encrusted with crystals. Prince William matched his wife's "royal" outfit, wearing a suit with a black velvet tuxedo.

The Prince and Princess of Wales entered the Royal Albert Hall holding hands and demonstrating an unbreakable alliance of sorts amid the publication of Omid Scobie's latest controversial book about the royal family, Endgame.
