Kate Hudson will record a music album: "it's time"

The 43-year-old actress shared a photo of herself in a recording studio posing with a microphone.

After many years of career in movies, Kate Hudson decided to show her talents in music. She told her fans on social media that she is going to record her first album of songs. “Finally realized it's time to say f#%! it and saaaannngg!!!!! she commented on the posted photo. She put "myikigai," which can be translated from Japanese as "reason for being (or existence)," as her hashtag.

Although Hudson's singing ambitions may surprise some, but not the actress herself. Kate's father is Bill Hudson, who was a vocalist in The Hudson Brothers, beginning in the 1960s and continuing through the 1980s. There have been musical moments in her acting career as well, from singing Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" with Matthew McConaughey in " How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (2003) to singing "Cinema Italiano" in the 2009 musical "Nine".
