Bags with dragons: Fendi presented a collaboration with Pokémon
The Italian brand has released a “themed” collection ahead of the Year of the Dragon according to the Chinese calendar.
Fendi presented a collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara, the founder of fragmentary design and the “father of street style.” His work is used by Frgmt and Pokémon. The three-way collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, bags, jewelry, and digital accessories for the Pokémon GO game.
The main character was Dragonite, chosen in light of the upcoming Year of the Dragon. He was accompanied by other Pokémon characters - Dragonair and Dratini. They come in modified versions of the Italian brand's iconic logo, in classic brown shades, as well as a bright yellow option. The motif adorned famous Fendi bags, including the baguette, peekaboo and shopper. The collection also includes jewelry and clothing items. The top of the collection are digital gadgets that can be purchased in the Pokémon GO app.
The collection will go on sale starting January 4th.
