Difficult but happy: Ariana Grande assessed the past year
The singer starred in a movie, filed for divorce and started a new relationship.
Ariana Grande looks at the past year with positivity and gratitude. The singer/actress took to social media to share her assessment of the lessons learned in 2023. “One of the most transformational, most difficult and at the same time the happiest and most special years of my life. There were so many wonderful and at the same time polar sensations,” Grande wrote. - I have never felt more blessed and accepting of what life has in store for me to teach. I have never felt more content to immerse myself in my work, being able to cherish every moment.”
It has indeed been a busy year for the 30-year-old singer. She starred in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked, starring alongside Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and Ethan Slater. The film was directed by Jon M. Chu. As for Ariana’s personal life, it was stormy. Divorce from real estate agent Dalton Gomez after 2.5 years of marriage and an affair with "Evil" co-star Slater. Grande dyed her hair from brunette to blonde, and at the end of December announced that she would soon release a new music album.
