Diana Ross is the new muse of Yves Saint Laurent.
The 79-year-old singer and the French fashion house share a long-standing relationship of love and professional recognition.
Internet users haven't had time to get over the Calvin Klein ad campaign with Jeremy Allen White yet, but there's another star who is sure to occupy the minds of fashionistas this week. Diana Ross is the "face" of the new Saint Laurent ad campaign created by photographer David Sims.
A snapshot of Ross surfaced on social media, showing her posing in a dress from the French fashion house's new, spring/summer collection. "Diana Ross, Spring 24 by Antonio Vaccarello," the Saint Laurent press office commented on the post.
With the exception of the published photo, virtually nothing is known about the ad campaign. But the photo of Ross literally "exploded" the network. Users began to admire the appearance and determination of the artist, who agreed to experiment with high fashion.
