The Handmaid's Tale star Elisabeth Moss is expecting her first child

Elisabeth Moss is preparing to become a mother. The Mad Men star appeared before the host of the evening television program Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a black tight dress that emphasized her rounded belly.

“Are you pregnant or are you simply a devoted supporter of the “method” (as Stanislavsky’s system is called in the West)?” Jimmy asked his interlocutor. “A little bit of both,” Elizabeth replied with a smile. She admitted that “real luck” played a significant role in her current situation. “Everything is going really well,” Moss added, before asking Kimmel, a father of four, for advice. The presenter, in his characteristic humorous manner, suggested that she take a Christmas garland or candles with her to the maternity hospital in order to properly illuminate the fateful event.

Elisabeth Moss became famous thanks to the Hulu series “The Handmaid's Tale” (since 2017), filmed in the dystopian genre based on the 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood. The actress played the main role, a woman in a dependent position, Fredov. Before the release of the fifth season in September 2022, it was announced that the sixth season would be the final one for the project.
