Meryl Streep recently confirmed the idea of sustainable fashion. This concept is about consuming less goods while caring for the environment. Clothing production is still one of the most polluting industries. Following it, the 74-year-old actress again wore a dress from the famous French brand Lanvin, in which she was spotted at an event in 2015. The day before, Streep attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards in a white, flowing gown with a deep neckline and high slit. The look was completed with silver high-heeled sandals and black-rimmed glasses. The Devil Wears Prada star took to the stage to present the Icon Award to singer Cher.

Meryl's dress was designed by Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz, who worked at the fashion house from 2001 to 2015 and passed away in 2021. The first appearance of the actress in this outfit took place on October 22, 2015 at a gala in New York, dedicated to honoring the stars. Then the actress also appeared before photographers in glasses, but not in black, and thin metal frame. And unlike the loose hair at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, eight and a half years ago Streep collected them in a high bundle.

The most interesting thing is that in a white total bow she attended in February and the ceremony of another prestigious music award - Grammy. The actress presented in a Valentino sequined and feather trimmed jumpsuit for the Record of the Year nomination with her son-in-law, musician Mark Ronson. He married Meryl's second daughter, Grace Gummer, in 2021.

And Streep's choice of color persistently this season is unsurprising. Monochrome red carpet looks have become trendy after being spotted on the runways at Gucci, Chloé and Carven. Limited palettes have featured in the outfits of Golden Globe and Academy Awards attendees including Jennifer Lawrence, Keri Russell and Carey Mulligan.

Since 2014, the iHeartRadio Music Awards have honored excellence in music. In particular, the most played artists and music tracks on the service's radio stations and in the iHeartRadio app. In addition to Cher, the 2024 honorees also included Beyoncé. Justin Timberlake, Lanie Wilson, Tate McRae, Jelly Roll, Green Day, TLC and others performed at the award ceremony.
