The new collection of wedding dresses by Zuhair Murad is inspired by the history of the ancient Phoenicians - the people who inhabited the territory of modern Lebanon, and is filled with the timeless spirit of ancient civilization.

Each dress is a work of art, like a tapestry, intricately embellished with gold accents whose delicate glow evokes the Mediterranean sun. And when the bride strolls through the garden of a bygone era, fruit trees and vineyards fill the atmosphere with the aroma of spring, transporting her to the realm of unearthly romance.

The letters, gracefully embroidered with thin threads, seem to dance on the fabric, and floral motifs are woven into a love story.

Prints reminiscent of the grasses of the field are infused with delicate lace, enveloping body-hugging or voluminous silhouettes, while veils and capes flutter gracefully to complement ensembles.

A wide satin bow cinches the waist, while the high bustline exudes effortless sophistication, reminiscent of the timeless elegance of Phoenician heritage. The shoulders are open, thanks to square necklines or elongated deep necklines, executed with a sense of proportion that distinguishes good taste.

Thick and at the same time flowing mikado fabric creates a full skirt and gently drapes the bodice. At times, blouses organically transform into dresses, emphasizing the versatility of the ZM collection.

Three-dimensional embroidery shimmers like a sculpture, and crystals “play” with sea waves as if under the light of the moon. Olive and grape branches sit alongside examples of ancient weapons, decorating the fabric and transforming the bride into a goddess from an ancient legend.

The models are presented in a palette of white and ivory, combining sophistication with purity and creating an impenetrable charm.

The fashion house chose the Mediterranean coast as the location for shooting the advertising campaign. Transparent water, changing color at different times of the day, the natural color of the rocks and the cloudless sky emphasized the “crystalline” quality of Zuhair Murad’s models and turned the models into beautiful butterflies, ready to fly away into the fabulously magical world of an ideal wedding.
