Jennifer Lopez's mother and sisters are urging her to divorce Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez's family is reportedly ready for her not to save her dangling marriage to Ben Affleck, divorce and start a new life. According to the Daily Mail, the singer/actress' mother Guadalupe Rodriguez is urging her to end the painful relationship amid claims of an "imminent" divorce.

"Jennifer's mom is telling her: 'Burn bridges and move on to avoid sinking further into this craziness,'" an unnamed source in Lopez's inner circle said. - She claims Jen lost years believing in Ben as a knight in shining armor. He is not a man worth fighting for. This whole thing is taking a lot out of her, she's losing faith in herself and her principles."

Meanwhile, J.Lo herself "feels that Ben is not worthy of her, and the sisters agree. Of course, they want to see Jennifer happy, but they feel that she's gripped by the situation to the point where she doesn't fully understand the reality of what's going on. First, they want her to get divorced and second, they want her to focus on her kids and career."

The source added that "Jennifer and her family are very upset that Ben doesn't see her as a woman who is loved by millions and loves him to the core. He is more likely to give up than to try to fix the situation," the source noted.

Meanwhile, Affleck himself seems to be in a deep depression over his split from his wife. "People close to Ben are increasingly worried about him and what he's been going through over the last two months. He's really in a dark place right now. And when this happens to him, they can't help but fear for him very much," a source from the Oscar winner's entourage revealed.

Recall, in 2018, the actor/director went into rehab for alcohol problems. Both Lopez and first wife Jennifer Garner have been strongly supporting him since then, so that there was no relapse.
