Brad Pitt released anti-aging cosmetics
The products use grapes and olive oil from the 58-year-old actor's French estate.
Brad Pitt launched a line of skin care products using ingredients from his winery in Provence, France. But the information on Le Domaine's website got it wrong - the description said the products "do not contain conservatives. Whereas it would have been correct to write "do not contain preservative".
The amusing inaccuracy was corrected after complaints from users. Brad Pitt skin care products do not contain substances such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, triclosan, chlorphenesin and other additives used in industrial cosmetology to preserve creams, gels, serums, tonics, etc.
According to the website, the Le Domaine brand debuted three "inclusive" and very inexpensive products made with olive oil and grape seed oil from Chateau Miraval, which the actor bought with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie in 2012. For example, the exfoliating emulsion costs $80, while the serum and cream are priced at $385 and $320, respectively. A moisturizing cream will also be available later in the year, and it will cost customers $320.
"Le Domaine wants to help slow down the aging process of skin and give everyone, regardless of gender or skin type, the opportunity to age beautifully," the brand said in a press release. Brad himself previously admitted in an interview with Vogue that he has no intention of running away from age, and the idea of "anti-aging" seems like "a ridiculous fairy tale" to him.
