Gwyneth Paltrow talks about her childhood prank on Arnold Schwarzenegger
The 50-year-old actress recalled an episode from the past that happened during a Halloween celebration.
Gwyneth Paltrow attended the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" telecast in high spirits, appearing to the audience in a Winnie the Pooh costume and introducing herself as "Gwynnie the Pooh." As you know, the star of "Shakespeare in Love" is the daughter of famous Hollywood producer Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner. So the traditional trick-or-treating for kids on Halloween was turning into an excuse for little Gwyneth and her friends to meet their actor neighbors.
"Have you been friends with other celebrities' kids?" the host asked her. "Knocked on Jack Nicholson's door or anyone else's door, for example?" "Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger lived on our street," Paltrow admitted. "We used to knock on his door for candy." Even though Schwarzenegger did a lot of acting and later served as governor of California, according to Gwyneth, he never gave the kids a treat. And one day, along with some friends, she cruelly teased him. "We ended up showering his house with toilet paper," she recounted with a laugh. "We did that to a few houses there. But he was our joy and pride."
Though these words were spoken on TV, at the end of the conversation Paltrow added: "Just don't tell him."
