Chris Hemsworth shared a photo from the filming of "Thor: Love and Thunder

Empire magazine recently published a photo of Portman as Jane Foster from Thor: Love and Thunder. The actress poses with Mjolnir (Thor's axe) and in a costume identical to that of Thor played by Hemsworth. And fans got their first glimpse of the actress' image from the new film in a teaser released in April.

"It's been about eight years. She had a completely different life, and then the love of your life comes back on stage dressed as you. It really blows Thor's mind," commented director Taika Waititi on Jane's return to the story. "As I was writing (the script), I thought, 'Wouldn't it be fun to have Jane back in the story?' But you wouldn't want Natalie back as the same heroine strutting around with scientific equipment. You know, if Thor flies, she stays on Earth, stomping her foot and exclaiming: "When is he coming back?" It's boring. You're going to want to make her a part of the adventure," Waititi explained.

A photo with his Empire partner, Thor performer Chris Hemsworth posted the other day on his social media account as well. "Hey everyone, when's the Met Gala? Asgard's influential couple just discovered the winning outfits," the actor commented on the photo.

As a reminder, the movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" will be released on wide screens on July 8, 2022.
