Ghostbusters to be rebooted without Jason Reitman

Sony Pictures has announced the imminent start of filming of the sequel to the project "Ghostbusters: Descendants."

Only now the director of the first part and the son of the director of the first two parts, Jason Reitman, dropped out of the series as a director.

2021 screenwriter Gil Keenan has been assigned to reboot the film, though Reitman has retained his status as story writer and co-producer.

But pleases the information that the entire previous cast, including Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon, remain in the project.

The plot itself has not yet been revealed, but, according to some reports, the main events will unfold in New York. The film is slated to be shown in December next year.
