The characters vie for wealth and power in a high-stakes game spiced with ambition, greed, lust and jealousy.
Speaking to People, Caron said that he was "inspired to make the film by a succession of great films that hold the audience's attention until the very end. These include "The usial suspects" (1995), "House of Games" (1987), "Klute" (1971), "The Thomas Crown Affair" (1999), "The Color of Money" (1986), "The Sting" (1973), etc."
The movie "Swindlers" will be released on Feb. 17 on the streaming service Apple TV+.
