Release date for the final season of Riverdale announced
The project has been filmed since 2017, the last time viewers followed its events more than a year ago.
The CW has announced the premiere date for the seventh season of its hit series Riverdale. The first episode will air on March 29th and the last episode on August 23rd.
The plot of the project is built around a group of young people led by Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), puzzled by uncovering the secrets of a small town. Created a dark version of a story told by Archie Comics in 1941 by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Last May, The CW announced that the show, which had been running since 2017, would end with a seventh season. The director of the TV channel, Mark Pedowitz, said that it was decided to arrange an "appropriate send-off" for this long-running, successful project. "We want to finish it right," he said.
