Rachel McAdams will help her daughter get rid of her complexes in new drama

Director Kelly Framon is making her feature film debut, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret," which has been announced to premiere April 28, 2023.

The story centers on the difficult plight of a complex teenage girl named Margaret, played by Abby Ryder Fortson.

Preoccupied with her adult problems, her mother as Rachel McAdams unexpectedly begins to notice her daughter's difficulties, and then actively gets involved in solving them.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Judy Blume, the script was written by director Kelly Framon.

The cast also includes Kathy Bates, Benny Safdie, Elle Graham, Mia Dillon, Jacoby Swain, Wilbur Fitzgerald, Gary Huston and Ethan McDowell.
