HBO Max has a sci-fi series "One of Us"

Joel and Ellie's apocalyptic journey began on HBO Max the day before, when the first episode of the series "The Last of U" was released on the streaming service. The project adapts the legendary PlayStation series of the same name from developer Naughty Dog for the TV screen.

Events unfold in a world where a deadly fungal infection has turned humans into monsters. Joe, a rugged smuggler, has so far escaped this fate, but is forced to mobilize all his strength and ingenuity in order to deliver a teenage girl, Ellie, to her destination. The way through the country, rife with danger at every step, does not give them a minute to relax. The main roles in the series were played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

The first season produced nine episodes with an emphasis on the introduction to the game franchise. A new episode is expected to appear on the platform every Sunday until March 12th.
