"Wonder Woman" Gal Gadot: interesting facts about the Israeli actress

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress, singer, martial artist and model. She was born in 1985 in Rosh Haina in the family of an engineer and a teacher. For two years she served in the Israeli army, after which she won the "Miss Israel" contest.

Gadot's film debut was the participation in the filming of the movie "Fast and the Furious 4" (2009) as Gisele. In "Fast 5" (2011) and "Fast 6" (2013), her screen time was increased by directing the heroine in a romantic relationship with Han Liu (Song Kang).

In early December 2013, Gadot was approved for the role of the superheroine Wonder Woman, who appears in the film "Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice" (2016). To prepare for the shooting, the actress takes lessons in fencing, kickboxing, wushu, capoeira and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
