Netflix to show record number of Korean movies and series in 2023
Projects from Korea are becoming more and more popular in the global box office.
The squid game started a real boom in Korean cinema on the Netflix platform.
Streaming was happy to include projects from this country in its schedule, and in 2023, Korean content is completely preparing to break a historical record.
According to Vice President of Content Don Kang, during the current year, thirty-four Korean full-length films and series will be presented to the audience.
Among them are Behind Your Touch, Crash Course in Romance, The Good Bad Mother, King The Land and many others.
Meanwhile, two Korean projects, the sci-fi film Jung-i and the thriller Kill Boksoon, will be shown for the first time at the Berlin International Film Festival.
