Famed 'Moonboy' director Agusti Villaronga dies at 69
He was one of the most famous Spanish directors.
Renowned Spanish director Agusti Villaronga has died in Barcelona at the age of 70.
The cause of the incident is not called, but, according to some reports, the director died suddenly and unexpectedly for relatives and colleagues.
Villaronga has dozens of filmed projects to her credit, the most famous of which are Moonlight Boy (1989), The Sea (2000) and Black Bread (2010).
The director was awarded many times with various prizes and film awards, including the most prestigious Goya in Spain.
By the way, shortly before his death, the director finished his next masterpiece "Loli Hurricane", the premiere of which is promised by the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
