The sequel to "The Sandman" has been given a start date for filming.
The creators promise a cool new format.
The Netflix-announced second season of the fantasy series "The Sandman" will begin filming in June or July 2023.
According to Desiree Mason exec Alexander Park, the producers are not aiming to get the project off as quickly as possible.
"We want to spend as much time as it takes on new stories. For it is supposed to give out a whole new cool format and different forms that will be a surprise to the viewer," the actor shed light on the next season.
Therefore, the creators of the project is in no hurry to announce the premiere date, but tentatively the series will be released before the middle of 2024.
The original series was released last August and was enthusiastically received by critics and viewers alike.
The story of Dream Lord Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), who is forced to restore balance to an already fragile world after a long confinement in the hands of an occultist, received maximum ratings.
