The Simpsons has been renewed for two seasons

Fox has announced a two-season extension of The Simpsons.

Thus, the project goes to the record among animated "long-livers". These will be his thirty-fifth and thirty-sixth parts, during which the eight hundredth series will be filmed.

For comparison, the animated series Bob's Diner, also extended for two seasons, will become only the fourteenth and fifteenth parts for the project.

At the same time, both series are among the ten most popular comedy shows of the channel in 2022. The Simpsons is in fourth place, and Bob is at the top of the rankings.
