Stephen King reboot of 'Children of the Corn' set for release date

First, the "old-new" horror film will go to cinemas.

After some disturbing silence, the authors of the new film "Children of the Corn" based on the stories of Stephen King have decided on a release date.

On March 3, the updated horror movie will go to theaters, and after eighteen days it will begin to be shown on digital platforms.

According to Equilibrium author Kurt Wimmer, who directed the new Children of the Corn, viewers are in for an amazing spectacle and many surprises compared to the original version.

The first film appeared in 1984 and told the story of a 12-year-old Nebraska girl who becomes possessed by an evil spirit in a dying cornfield.

She takes other children as her assistants and begins a bloody cleansing of the town from the adult population.

Only one teenager can save the city, who miraculously retained a bright mind and a pure soul.
