The Last of Us has been officially renewed for a second season.

Not so long ago, actress Bella Ramsay, who played the role of Ellie in the TV series The Last of Us, did not rule out that the project could be continued if the audience liked the first part.

The original series based on the video game of the same name managed to appear after the premiere in just two episodes, but it immediately became clear that the journey of the smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal) and the teenage girl Ellie (Bella Ramsay) through post-apocalyptic America in search of salvation from the deadly virus was received positively by the audience.

Only the first episode, released on January 15, has already been watched by almost twenty-five million people.

Therefore, the leadership of the HBO channel, on which the series is shown, cast aside all the last doubts, and made an official announcement of the second season.

It is not yet known when it will start filming and when it will be shown on the screens. But more important now is what will continue to be.
