Nick Cassavetes put together an all-star cast

The creator of the films The Notebook and Alpha Dog, Nick Cassavetes, has conceived a new project called Marked People, based on Jay Crownover's book Love Beyond the Rules.

The main role went to actress Sidney Taylor, whose character is a quiet student Shaw Landon trying to figure out her feelings for a character named Rule Archer - a rebel and a bully.

The heroes have to go through many trials and difficulties before they figure out whether they need each other.

In general, the director managed to assemble a fairly stellar cast into the future melodrama.

In addition to Taylor, Chase Stokes from the series Outer Banks, Ella Balinska (Resident Evil) and Evan Mokk (remake of Gossip Girl) will play in the film.
