Antonio Banderas revealed the storyline of the new "Shrek"

Not so long ago it became known that after a long break in production, the fifth part of the animated series "Shrek" was launched.

The first season of the project about a cute green ogre was released back in 2001, and delighted viewers of all ages.

Favorite characters were voiced by star Hollywood actors, and one of them, Antonio Banderas, whose voice Puss in Boots broadcasts, allowed himself to speculate a little about the plot of the new cartoon.

The artist recalled that in the fourth part Shrek became a family man, but, in the end, he gets tired of babysitting children.

Wanting to get his old life back, he makes a risky deal, which he quickly regrets and decides to return everything back.

“It is logical to assume that life does not stand still, and Shrek’s children turn over time into naughty teenagers who become a real nightmare for him, like for many parents,” the artist said.

At the same time, he clarified that this is just his own vision of the plot, since the shooting has just begun, and few people are familiar with anything. So, surprises are possible.
