Netflix confirms 'The Witcher' renewal for season 5 amid project failure
The audience was dissatisfied with what they saw.
The prequel series The Witcher: Origins, released at the end of December last year, provoked harsh criticism from experts and frankly disappointed viewers.
However, neither the failure of the project, nor the departure of Henry Cavill from the main role did not become a reason for Netflix to change its plans.
Streaming previously announced that the fifth season of the film would receive a continuation, and now confirmed its intention to film the next part.
True, there are rumors that it could be the final one in the entire project, but Netflix has not yet confirmed this moment.
And there is still a fourth season ahead, in which the role of Geralt of Rivia will be played by Liam Hemsworth, and which many viewers are already criticizing, although it is in the early stages of development.
But the third season has a chance of success. The project will appear on the screens this summer, and in it the audience will see Henry Cavill for the last time.
