1923 has been renewed for a second season
Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren will reprise their roles.
The story of Jacob and Kara Dutton will continue. Paramount+ has announced that 1923 has been renewed for a second season. The plot of the prequel, a spin-off of the popular TV project "Yellowstone" is built around the predecessors of Kevin Costner's character John Dutton, who live in 1923.
With co-stars Harrison Ford as Jacob and Helen Mirren as Cara, 1923 set a streaming service record for most views on its opening day. "The series explores the early 20th century as pandemics, historic drought and the end of Prohibition engulfed the mountainous west that the Duttons called home," reads the series' official synopsis.
Ford and Mirren were accompanied on set by Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Jerome Flynn and Julia Schlapfer. The first season of 1923 will resume on Paramount+ on February 5th.
