Spartacus: Blood And Sand got a sequel

Thirteen years have passed since the first season was released.

The television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand with Andy Whitfield came out on January 22, 2010, and even then they wanted to create a sequel.

However, the actor passed away from cancer in 2011, and Spartacus TV franchise creator Steven S. DeNight limited himself to an abstract mini-project.

But nearly a decade and a half passed and Steven S., with the help of the Starz cable channel as producer and showrunner, decided to embark on a sequel after all.

The universe of gladiatorial fights in ancient Rome will tell a new story of treachery, treachery and blood, unfolding under the sinister shadow of Rome, following the defeat of Spartacus and his rebel army in the finale of the original project.

No filming dates or cast are known yet. But fans of such historical things are happy that in the case of Spartacus it has moved on from the dead point.
