Space series Avenue 5 with Hugh Laurie canceled after two seasons

Too restrained critical reviews and not too high views of the comedy-fiction series "Avenue 5" with Hugh Laurie in the lead role forced the project owners to abandon the production of the already planned third part.

The original series was released in early 2020, the second season was released only in the fall of 2022 due to the pandemic.

However, the space travel of tourists on the Avenue 5 ship, which was in distress during a cruise around Saturn, did not impress everyone.

Critics did not scold or praise, and the audience did not express much enthusiasm. Therefore, the project was decided to be closed, although preparations were already underway for the filming of the third part.
