Warner Bros. denied information about the filming of "Harry Potter"
It was reported that the film studio dreams of repeating the success of the ten films already made in the franchise.
Warner Brothers Studio has responded to claims that the Harry Potter franchise is expanding. It was reported that development had already begun on translating the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", a successful play in London's West End, to the silver screen. The potential project was to feature Harry, Ron and Hermione, played by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. However, the film studio issued a refutation of this information.
Representative from Warner Bros. Discovery said in an interview with the British Mirror: "The reports are not true". In early 2022, commenting on a reunion with ex-colleagues as part of a special episode for the 20th anniversary of the release of the first film in the franchise, Radcliffe admitted that he had no plans to return to the role of Potter. “I don’t think anyone wants to hear this answer, but I guess I was able to enjoy it (the reunion) because it is no longer part of my daily life.”
According to Daniel, he is happy with the way his film career is developing, and returning to the famous role would be problematic for him.
