The first shot from the thriller "Hypnotic" with Ben Affleck hit the web

The first shot of Hypnotic has been released. It depicts Ben Affleck, the actor in the title role, while performing his duties as a detective. According to the plot, he is investigating a series of unexplained crimes while searching for his missing daughter, whose disappearance is somehow connected to a secret government program.

In the photo shown, Afflec, with a concerned expression on his face, is just holding a Polaroid shot of his daughter. Joining Ben on the set are Alicia Braga, J.D. Pardo, Hala Finley, Dayo Okeniyi, Jeff Faye, Jackie Earle Haley, William Fichtner, and others. It is not known what roles they play, except that Finley portrays the missing daughter of Affleck's character.

"Hypnotic" is a dream movie for Rodriguez. In an interview with Collider, he revealed that for two decades he has wanted to make "a Hitchcockian thriller on steroids." The picture, he said, will have "a lot of twists and turns" and is shot in an energetic manner. It will be released on wide screens on October 25, 2024.
