The 73-year-old rom-com queen is gearing up to make a Netflix film on a hefty budget for the genre.
Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Michael Fassbender and Owen Wilson are in talks to star in Netflix's big-budget comedy. The film will mark the return to the director's chair of the famous Nancy Myers, who directed such rom-coms as "I Love Trouble" (1994), "Father of the Bride" (1991) and "Father of the Bride 2" (1995), "Love by the rules and without" (2003 ), "Exchange Vacation" (2006), "Intern" (2015), etc.
Sources close to the project claim that contracts with the stars have not yet been signed, and the final budget has not been approved.
To this day, the film is titled "Paris Paramount" and tells the story of a prominent filmmaking duo who reunite (reluctantly) on set some time after their whirlwind romance comes to an end. Myers will direct the film from his own script with an estimated budget of $100 million.
