Tom Cruise Praises 'The Flash' Director for Great Job
The 60-year-old actor was the first to watch a comic book movie, and he could not hide his emotions.
Tom Cruise praised DC's upcoming film The Flash after viewing it, claiming it has "everything you'd expect from a movie". This was reported to THR by sources close to the actor.
The film, which stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Michael Shannon and Sasha Calle, is due in theaters on June 16th.
But Tom didn't want to wait for the official release after he heard a lot of good things about the upcoming film comic from the head of Warner Bros. in February. David Zaslav. The Top Gun star asked if he could watch the film ahead of time, and soon a messenger was sent to his home in Beverly Hills with a copy of the painting. Cruz was so impressed with her viewing that he personally called director Andres Muschietti and expressed his delight, noting that "we need these kinds of films now."
