ABC showed an excerpt from an interview with Jeremy Renner
The 52-year-old actor was close to death after being run over by a six-ton snowcat.
Jeremy Renner calls himself "lucky" after surviving a horrific snowplow accident in January of this year. Over the New Year holidays, the actor was relaxing at his country house in Lake Tahoe, Colorado, when a snowstorm hit the region, outlining snowdrifts almost a meter high. Having gone to help a relative stuck in the snow on a 6-ton PistenBully snowcat, the actor at some point got out of it, but he began to move and knocked him down. As a result, hospitalized Jeremy was diagnosed with a blunt chest injury, including eight broken ribs in 14 places, fractures of the orbit, jaw, etc.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer for ABC News, Jeremy admitted that he remembers "all the pain" he's had since: "I was conscious the whole time." According to the nephew Renner was trying to help, a "pool of blood" poured out of the Hawkeye actor's head. “I rushed to him, thinking that he was already dead,” the man said.
