Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe to star in 'Goodfellas' sequel
The actors came up with an original name for it.
Russell Crowe shared a funny fact with journalists - together with his colleague in the comedy Goodfellas (2016) Ryan Gosling, he came up with a humorous title for its continuation.
Rumors that a sequel would be filmed began to circulate almost immediately after the release of the story about two cop buddies caught in the maelstrom of events in 1970s Los Angeles. Thanks to the "on-screen chemistry" of Crowe and Gosling, the picture has a loyal army of fans who are waiting to see their favorites again in a joint project.
And the name of it, according to the actors, should be - "Goodfellas: Mexican Detectives." And it, of course, will be connected with the peculiarities of the plot, which will “take away” viewers to the country next to the United States - Mexico, where Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) and Holland March (Gosling) will investigate the next crimes.
