The first "Ahsoka" ("Star Wars") trailer is impressive

The "Ahsoka" series will air on Disney + in August 2023.

Lucasfilm has released during Star Wars 2023 celebrations the first and long-awaited trailer for the series "Ahsoka," which will air on Disney + in August 2023. As the title suggests, it will focus on Ahsoka Tano, a Padawan trained by Anakin Skywalker who fought at his side during the Clone Wars.

The character moved from the animated series to an action movie when Ahsoka Tano appeared in the second season of Mandalorean. She is played by Rosario Dawson. The idea was to introduce her there and work on her own spin-off.

Ahsoka will also be the debut of several other animated and very famous characters. One of the most anticipated is Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian, who will be played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo. She appears briefly in the trailer. We are expected to see the return of Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger.

Who is Ahsoka Tano?

Ahsoka Tano is an iconic character in the Star Wars universe. Since her first appearance on "The Clone Wars" in 2008, Ahsoka has captivated fans with her bravery, resourcefulness, and perseverance. Over the years, the character has evolved and continued to fight for the cause of justice in the galaxy.

Ahsoka Tano is Togruta, an alien who has distinctive features such as a head with sideburns and two stripes crossing her face. She was born on the planet Shili and was trained as a Jedi padawan by Obi-Wan Kenobi. She was later assigned as an apprentice to Anakin Skywalker, the legendary Jedi Knight who later became Darth Vader.

She played a prominent role in the Clone Wars, which, as the name implies, took place during the Clone Wars. Throughout the series, Ahsoka Tano showed herself to be a capable and courageous leader. She also had to survive the loss of her teacher, Jedi Knight Pong Krell, who became a traitor and was arrested by her and her team.

As the series progressed, Ahsoka Tano grew in confidence and ability, proving her bravery many times over. She has also had to face difficult situations, such as the unjust accusation of committing an act of terrorism in the Jedi Temple. Despite the hardships, Ahsoka has always maintained her spirit and dedication to the cause of justice.

Ahsoka Tano has also appeared in other Star Wars productions such as the Star Wars: Rebels series, The Mandalorian and briefly in Boba Fett's book. In the former, she became something of a mentor to the main character Ezra Bridger.

In The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano appears in the fifth episode of the show's second season. She helped the main character, Dean Jarin, in his search for a Jedi who can teach Grogue the light side of the Force.

The announcement of the series about Ahsoka Tano raised a lot of emotion and anticipation among Star Wars fans who have been following the character's development since his debut in 2008. The series could delve deeper into Ahsoka's past and her relationship with the Jedi and the Force.

"Ahsoka" will premiere next August on Disney + and, like the Boba Fett book, it takes place around the same time as "The Mandalorian."
