Bella Ramsey to helm season two of BBC series 'Term'

The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has been cast as the lead in the second season of the BBC prison drama Term. She will be accompanied on the set by Jodie Whittaker, Tamara Lawrence and Shivann Finneran.

Jimmy McGovern's TV show, which starred Stephen Graham and Sean Bean in its first season, will be moving to a women's prison where Ramsey can be seen as Kelsey. The girl will plunge into a whole new world with Orla (Whittaker) and Abi (Lawrence). Even with the constant threat of violence, they suddenly find an unexpected solidarity and shared concepts that make life easier for them.

"I am very happy to be part of the project, working with an incredible team after a very strong first season," Ramsey said in a special press statement. "And it's such an honor to be Kelsey, I'm excited to dive into her world in the coming months." The other day it also became known that Bella will star in the historical drama "Monstrous Beauty" with Dominic West and Ruth Negga.
