Samuel L. Jackson to play prison chef in 'Last Meals'

Company 74-year-old actor on the set will be Boyd Holbrook.

The star of "Django Unchained" and "Captain Marvel" Samuel L. Jackson will play in the action-packed drama "Last Meals". Earlier, Boyd Holbrook (“Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate”) was approved for one of the roles in the film.

Jackson will play Walter, a disgraced White House chef who finds himself years later in a maximum security prison. His duty is to cook food for death row inmates. Holbrook will play one of the residents of Reed's facility who went on a hunger strike. A friendship develops between him and the cook, which allows Walter to look into the soul of a brave rebel who is ready to give up a pleasant experience in order to prove his innocence.

Last Meals will be directed by Andrew Levitas, best known for his work on the biopic The Great One with Johnny Depp and the thriller Lullaby with Garrett Hedlund and Amy Adams.
