Michelle Yeoh opens up about her youthful plans for life

Michelle Yeoh never dreamed of acting in films and, moreover, becoming a Hollywood movie star. The actress, whose first appearance on the big screen took place almost 40 years ago, said that as a child she had completely different plans for life.

“My world has always been built around dance, I wanted to open my own school. I've always wanted to dance to music and all that stuff," Michelle explained to ET Canada. According to her, "the opportunity to be in the film business was presented to her by chance." “And then I thought, well, well, I didn’t risk anything, I didn’t get anything. Luckily, I liked it. And here I am now, where I am.”

As a child, Yeoh dreamed of becoming a ballerina. At the age of four, she was already practicing at the ballet barre and moved to London at the age of 15 to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance. In the future, she also saw herself as a choreographer.
