Disney unveils first still from Snow White

The first still from the Disney feature film "Snow White" is here. The other day, the film studio shared material from its ambitious project - a live-action remake of the cartoon "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937). In the photo you can see Rachel Zegler in the image of a classic Disney princess, surrounded by her favorite friends. The actress is dressed in a modification of Snow White's iconic outfit - a blue top and a fluffy yellow skirt - and is photographed with a motley group inside the famous house, hidden in the forest.

When will Snow White be released in cinemas?

Disney released the first image at the same time as it announced that it was moving the premiere date to a year later. Initially, the film was planned to be released on big screens on March 22, 2024, but now viewers will have to wait. They will get acquainted with the new creation of the film studio only on March 21, 2025.

Rachel Zegler will play Snow White

Following the new "The Little Mermaid" starring black Halle Bailey, Disney continues to diversify its classic stories by casting actors from different ethnic backgrounds in lead roles. Zegler gained fame thanks to her work on Steven Spielberg's film West Side Story (2021). She also starred in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel, the fantasy film The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds, playing Lucy Gray Baird. The premiere of the film will take place on November 17th.
