Film awards season has unofficially kicked off in New York City with the return of the Gotham Awards. At the annual ceremony, this time the 33rd in a row, the best works in the field of television and independent cinema were celebrated. The triumph of the evening was the South Korean director Celine Song with the melodrama “Past Lives” - about the meeting of a man and a woman who were connected by “first love” in their youth. But, of course, the ceremony was interesting not only for the list of laureates, but also for the outfits of the stars. In this review, we will look at photographs - from Margot Robbie with Tom Ackerley to Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Williams and others, who became guests of the gala evening at Cipriani Wall Street.

The couple dressed in black to attend the ceremony. Tom is in a matching suit and dark blue shirt. Margot again turned to Barbie for inspiration and borrowed an outfit from 1964 from her wardrobe - a strapless satin dress and a tulle cape. The look was completed with leather gloves and a silver clutch.

The Fabelmans star also appeared before photographers in a black, stylish bustier dress with a large pearl necklace. The actress was accompanied to the ceremony by her husband, director Thomas Kail.

Natalie Portman

But Natalie arrived alone for the evening. In the summer, she separated from her husband and father of her children, Benjamin Millepied. She graced the Gotham Awards in a pearl-gray dress with abundant embroidery and an interesting “crumpled” effect.

The 32-year-old actress looked like a real gothic princess in a black dress with wide sleeves, complemented by thick fringe.

Penelope Cruz

Like Portman, Penelope diluted the dominance of black at the Gotham Awards. A long shirt dress made of white lace and graceful sleeves with wide cuffs added femininity to the actress. But the “snowy” outfit still couldn’t do without black, in the form of pumps and a clutch.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone

The partners in the film “Killers of the Flower Moon” also appeared on the red carpet in full dress – DiCaprio chose a black suit with silk stripes on the trousers, a white shirt and a bow tie. Lily beamed with a mysterious smile in a wide blue dress with silver embroidery.

Juliette Binoche

The British actress also sported an interesting dark blue dress at the evening. The geometric silhouette played favorably with Juliette’s shoulder line and arms. A black manicure, miniature hoop earrings and a hairstyle in the form of loose curls completed the elegant look.

Carla Gugino

Sally Jupiter from Watchmen was the epitome of style and timeless beauty at the evening. To attend the ceremony, she chose a dark red evening dress with lace inserts. In addition, a wide smile, a golden clutch and dangly earrings made Carla a real star of the awards ceremony held in New York.
