'Sex and the City' to be made into a reality show

Its authors will give ladies over 50 the opportunity to find love.

"Sex and the City" will be recreated as a reality show. Bunim/Murray Productions has teamed up with Candace Bushnell, whose book of the same name inspired the hit HBO series.

The project will follow four “gorgeous” friends, all over 50 and dreaming of finding love again, as they trade active daytime lives for a romantic evening utopia. All of them will live together in a cozy country chateau and communicate with different psychotypes of men in each new episode. And viewers will have to find out who will steal the hearts of the participants, and whether they will be able to bring sex back to the big city.

Sex and the City aired on HBO for six seasons. It resulted in two feature films and the reboot series “And Just Like That.” Its third season is currently being filmed.
